What would you do if you lost everything? Where would you go and would your friends and family stay faithfully by your side? What would give you hope to put one foot in front of the other everyday in search of answers and a better life? Could you hope to live again after the loss?
A word about the series-
I began writing Jonathan's Cross late summer of 2008. Our modern day stock market was crashing and having studied the Great Depression, I knew what was likely in store for this country. My original goal was to provide a recession/depression survival guide cleverly wrapped in fiction. After all, there is much to be learned from a generation that survived the hardest decade in history. However, it quickly gained a life of its own with the characters demanding autonomy and Jonathan's Cross was born. I do my best to research the era and provide historically accurate events and scenarios from which my characters narrate. After all, it is the characters who tell the story. I simply type.
What Jonathan's Cross has become today is a fiction novel, and a chubby one at that, providing an escape most people can relate to.
